McLaren MP4 Supercar Launched

McLaren have just annouced their new two-seat, midengine supercar 'MP4-12C' in the United Kingdom. The new super car is aimed squarly at Ferrari and Lamborghini buyers.Powered by a twin-turbocharged V-8 engine with 600 horsepower, the MP4-12C can accelerate from 0 to 200km in 5 seconds and reach a top speed of 320km.

The MP4-12C will go on sale in the first half of 2011 in 19 countries, and suggested price is between ￡125,000 and ￡175,000.

This is the first supercar McLaren have built since the amazing McLaren F1 back in 1998. The new model doesn't quite have the wow factory that the F1 had, where i has the center seat gone!
