Apple iPod Shuffle - The latest updated Shuffle is the smallest from Apple so far and has some great features such as VoiceOver a new features that talks to you telling you which song and artist is playing by pressing a button and also tells you when your battery needs charging, Multiple Playlists, 4GB of storage, 20 different languages and 10 hours playback from full charge. Dimensions 1.8x0.7x0.3", weight 10.7g.

Samsung YP-U5 - The Samsung U5 dimensions are 4.35x2.61x1.49" making it longer, wider and deeper than the iPod Shuffle, but it has a 1" OLED screen displaying the song and artist playing. It has a built-in USB for speedy downloads, 2GB of memory, Album Art, FM Tuner/Recorder and is available in black, blue, white, pink and red. Weight 49.9g.

Sony Zappin B-Series - NEW - The Sony Zappin series has just been released and offers outstanding battery life at 18 hours of playback from a full charge and one and a half hours of playback from just a 3 minute charge. The design is great and measures 3.38x0.9x0.6" and weighs 26g, so is a little longer than the Shuffle but also has a screen to display your tracks and also has 4Gb of storage and FM radio/Recorder. It also plays 4 or 18 seconds of your track similarly to the Shuffle to assist in finding the desired song without needing to look at the screen.

Zune HD - If the larger more interactive MP3 Player is more your thing, the Zune HD is being compared to the iPod Touch with its large touchscreen display and rich specifications. It has a 3.3" OLED screen, HD Radio, 720p HD movies which can be watched on your HDTV, Wi-Fi, Web Browser, accelerometer and touchscreen qwerty keyboard.

Sony NWZ-X1060 - The new range from Sony offers the NWZ-X1060 and NWZ-X1050 which both have a great design with a 3" OLED touchscreen display, 16Gb and 32GB of storage respectively, built-in digital noise cancelling, S-Master digital amplifier, DSEE and enhanced Clear Audio technologies. They also offer 33 hours of music playback and 9 hours of video, a high-speed USB port and built-in Wi-Fi.
