Lenovo's Latest Launch Receives Mixed Reactions in Barcelona

Lenovo are keen to emphasise that their latest model is lighter, but are also putting emphasis on using the best, and not necessarily lightest hardware. Lenovo have marketed the latest model as the lightest 12.1 inch convertible tablet PC, however, it is still featuring bulky dimensions. The design remains at 1.7kg, and is 33mm thick. It also benefits from a new magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis. Featuring a standard Intel Core Duo chip, and a 7,2000rpm SATA hard disk, the X60 provides a greatly responsive performance. Lenovo claim other improvements include an improved battery-life, from 2.6 hours to 3.3. The X60 also reacts to the computers orientation by varying from landscape and portrait, depending on the position of the unit. Updates on when the X60 will be on sale will follow, but you can expect to pay at least £1,660 excluding VAT.
