| US firm Loc8tor Ltd has launched the affordable personal homing device aiming you keep you in control of possessions both big and small. Depending on how much you are prepared to pay, the device can be used as a homing device, or as a safety device which sounds an alarm if the tagged item is taken out of a certain radius. Using the smart handheld locator, all you need to do is attach the discrete tags, (24 can be used concurrently) on items renowned for trips to the Bermuda Triangle. When you’re in search of your possessions, the locator lets of an audio beep along with on-screen directional display information. The Loc8tor will take you from 600 feet to as little as 1 inch of the mislaid item. |  | | In alert mode an invisible safety zone can be set up around the Loc8tor alerting you with audio-visual vibration alarms in the event that the tagged item leaves the set boundary. This feature is great for those with quick kids or unruly pets. So if you’re fed up with losing your kids, cat, or keys you can get the Loc8tor in shops now. At the top end is the Loc8tor Plus pack which includes locate and alert modes, 1 panic tag, and 3 mini homing devices for £90. Next in line is the standard Loc8tor pack which comes with just the locate mode and 2 mini homing tags for £50.
