Knight Rider Sat Nav

Mio have confirmed they intend to release the Kight Rider Sat Nav - "Now I can drive down the road like the Hoff" Yes!

Sat Navs are inherently boring gadgets, they talk to us with bland mundane voices and as a rule of thumb look like they were designed back in the 1990s.

Not any more

Mio have decided to launch a 'Knight Rider' sat nav that greets you with “Hello, Michael, where would you like to go today?” in the voice of K.I.T.T aka William Daniels. The greeting can be changed to your own name, there are 300 preset names in its database so fingers crossed yours is in there.

Just writing about it, I am getting excited about driving down the road with K.I.T.T telling me that there is a collapsed bridge ahead, and that I will never make it! Unfortunately I have been informed by Mio, that it won't let me know about the collapsed bridge but it will tell me how to get to the nearest Burger King just fine.

The world needs more Knight Rider Gadgets, what about Sony doing a Knight Rider TV.
