Why such small memory sizes how can they expect to compete with Archos and Ipod with 8Gb. |
Average file compatibility includes support for MPEG4, high quality codec of AVC baseline profile formats, and JPEG files. Sony has included an ImageConverter Software CD which allows users to convert files, making them more compatible with the NW-A800 series. Photos can be stored and viewed via a slideshow with various fun settings to choose from. The interactive and extensive menu system provides search options via genre, song title, or artist. Alternatively the intelligent shuffle mechanism can be used for searching. To get music off the computer and onto the NW-A800 series, the SonicStage CP software is supported, which offers music management and downloads. Sonys online music store Connect offers 1.5 millions tracks for the taking too. |
