Iphone Crazy - Or Just Crazy

Apple whips the world into a Iphone frenzy.

Today thousands of geeks will be lining the streets of major U.S cities in hope of being lucky enough to get their chubby little hands on some of the very first iphones to be released.  To be honest I have had it up to here with all this iPhone hype especially as us brits won’t be getting our hands on the iPhone for at least another three or four months.

When the iPhone does eventually hit these shores well before Christmas you can expect to be well and truly had over. Apparently the only network to get access to the rights to sell the iPhone is Vodafone and the contract offered will be a whopping 24 month long tie-in. I personally think Apple have missed a trick here, because Apple had the chance with the iPhone to revolutionise over-night the way people purchased mobile phones, instead they only allow one UK network to offer it on contract.
