The new system will come built-in to some of LG's TVs or as another option as a plug-in box as an upgrade. We love the free download option where you can get an app to your iPhone or Android handset to use it as a remote.
From Sony comes a line of Bravia TVs. You will be able to share your episode listings, apps, and web searches, if you choose, via Facebook or Twitter. There is also a Dual View, which allows you to watch TV and surf the web simultaneously while you get recommendations from the smart personalisation tech who pays close attention to your viewing choices.
Internet TV looks to offer digital DVRs with limitless storage to save hundreds of programmes to watch when we get around to it. The TVs main purpose was to originally entertain, but now it has opened so many new doors, including working and even social networking.
