Hulu Plus Service Officially Launched - Stream to your iPad and TV!

Hulu Plus has arrived, and for $9.99 per month no less. No news on a UK version yet, it's US only at the moment and invite only too. But we can assume they'll eventually launch it over here and probably for around £10 per month, because us Brits always end up paying more, sigh.

You'll now be able to stream TV programmes and movies to pretty much all your Internet enabled devices if you pay the monthly fee. This includes Apple iPads, iPods, iPhones, your laptop and desktop computers, LCD TVs, Blu-ray players and even your PS3!

Sounds great huh? Only downside to all this is the fact that you still get annoying adverts even after paying for the premium service. It turns out the fee just entitles you to use the streaming service not remove any unwanted advertising.

This is what the Hulu maker had to say about the new service on their official blog:
"Hulu Plus is not a replacement for Hulu.com. Hulu Plus is a new, revolutionary ad-supported subscription product that is incremental and complementary to the existing Hulu service. For almost all of the current broadcast shows on our service, Hulu Plus offers the full season. Every single episode of the current season will be available, not just a handful of trailing episodes"

As you might have already figured, Hulu Plus will NOT be Flash based, this means it runs on the iPad and iPhone, which will definitely not be music to Adobe's ears, who are already battling to keep flash relevant.
