Grand Theft Auto IV - A Sales Record Breaker?

On Tuesday this week Grand Theft Auto IV went on sale with predicted sales of at least $6 million copies which equates to $400 million (£201m) sales in week one. This game is set to blast any other game sales away, in true style.

One of the major reasons for the outstanding popularity is that the Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas set game can be played on either the Microsoft Xbox 360 as well as the Playstation 3.

Whilst some Family Protection Organisations complain about the violence, nudity and strong language used in the ‘mature’ labeled over 18 game, gamers are more than excited to get their hands on the record breaking game with some even taking the day off from work or school to get stuck in with it.
The ‘masterpiece’ as some gamers are calling it, has a review score of 99.1% and with the addition of Multiplayer, with Deathmatch, Cops N Robbers and Team Mafya Work being included, has sent this game well into the next gaming generation and all in high definition glory.
