Google Nexus One available in April
Google's smartphone, Nexus One will be available to purchase next month, says a Telegraph source
The new Google smartphone will only be available to purchase online from Google, which means that the Nexus One will heavily rely on 'word of mouth marketing' as the Telegraph suggests.
Apparently, sales of the Nexus One haven't fared too well in the US, so Google have a lot of work to do to get people talking about their latest venture in the UK.
The Nexus One, which has a similar design to the Apple iPhone, is believed to be available on the Vodafone network here. The 'web meets phone' Nexus One has a 3.7" WVGA AMOLED touchscreen which offers a 1ms typical response rate along with lots of great features and functions that will certainly make the iPhone sit up and take notice.
It is currently priced at $529 in the US if you choose the network free option and insert your own sim or for an extra $179 it is available on the T-Mobile network. We will update you with the UK prices as soon as we get them. It can be bought for £452 right now which includes shipping and a UK charger.
