There are mad rumours circulating about a possible new social media platform being unveiled by Google very soon called Google Me. So like you can 'Google It' you will soon be able to 'Google Me' haha.
Sounds exciting, if anyone can beat the likes of Facebook it's going to be the enormous Google. The rumours come from some big name in the Internet world, Digg.com founder Kevin Rose is one of them, who posted the following on his Twitter feed: "Ok, umm, huge rumour: Google to launch facebook competitor very soon Google Me, very credible source."
This is the logo from the movie of the same name, Google may choose to brand there service similarly.
With such a worldwide grip on the Internet, with integration in mobile phones, laptop, desktop and tablet computers, such as the Apple iPad, even LCD TVs soon, Google has the tools to tip the balance of social media power, as it did to the email world a few years back with the introduction of Gmail.
