Ford Drives In-Car Twitter and Web Browsing
Each year CES delivers more and more futuristic gadgets (which we love) in all shapes and forms. The new in-car entertainment system from Ford is a massive leap into a gadget lovers world.
The Ford Sync MyTouch in-car entertainment system will be a dashboard computer which can be used totally hands free and voice activated to keep drivers safe, but also give them the ability to be flexible in their communication and work. Ford say that they are bringing all the applications that you get on a mobile phone and Internet, to the car.
The wireless Internet of 3G connection in the car will allow drivers to gain access to the Internet for useful tasks such as satellite navigation and local searches. Ford promise to make the system as user friendly and simple as possible to ensure that drivers can stick to driving regulations, the same as when using mobile phones and sat nav and state that the drivers safety is their up-most priority. They also say that these systems will be incorporated into all Ford vehicles not just the luxury models. Yay!!!
