'The Social Network' is the name of the upcoming Facebook movie, which is in no way endorsed by Facebook themselves. It's a biopic chronicling the rise and rise of Mark Zuckerberg and his world conquering social media web site Facebook, only it looks to be learning more towards the darker side of the story, detailing the scandal, underhand business tactics and court cases that have plagued Mark since his web site became the centre of media attention.
Directed by visionary movie director David Fincher, who has brought us films such as Se7en, Alien 3 and The curious Case of Benjamin Button, to name just a few. So as you can see, it's got a big budget and a serious team behind it. Hey, it even stars Justin Timberlake HAHA!
For such a geeky and inevitably corny storyline the trailer makes it look really good, and very very dark, we definitely want to see it now. We must admit we had our reservations at first, expecting a straight to DVD shambles not worthy of our beloved LCD TVs, but it looks impressive.
