Europe Have a Longer Wait for the PS3

Sony’s announcement has upset European gamers, by admitting that the gruelling wait to get their hands on the latest console is going to be longer than expected.

March 2007 is said to be the new date that the PS3 will be launched throughout Europe, even though it is already out in Japan, and will be launched in the US on the 17th of this month.

Japanese gamers queued outside stores despite the cold to be the first to get the console, before going into hibernation.  Takayuki Yokozawa, a 27-year-old gamer thinks the PS3 was well worth waiting for, he said: “I waited all this long, and I’m not disappointed.  I’m glad I waited.”

Unbeatable will keep an ear out for Sony's latest PS3 announcements.
