Audio corporation Creative has reacted to their area of expertise by providing a solution application called Alchemy. The downloadable application will detect those games using Direct Sound and will bypass Creative said the other option for their customers is to upgrade existing Creative Sound Cards as they will also be affected by the absence of the HAL. However this is not a Creative-only problem, and all firms that provide sound on motherboards will suffer. | |
