Three have just dropped an iPad shaped bombshell on the 3G market with an out of the blue announcement: They are offering the cheapest data plans for the upcoming 3G equipped Apple iPad!
Now that the 3G opposition have laid their cards on the table it looks like Three have taken advantage of the situation. After holding back their price plans to ensure they undercut every ones else, Three have announced highly competitive deals to entice new customers and their new tablet computers to the Three network.
With a dedicated 3G network larger than anyone else's, it's no wonder they can offer such great deals. In previous years 3 had struggled with bad network coverage, but over the past months they have really upped their game with impressive coverage across the entire United Kingdom.
As with the other network providers, Three are offering 1 month rolling contracts, meaning customers can cancel any time they wish, only paying for one month at a time. Or, if they choose, they can simply carry on without needing to renew the service every month.
1 GB of data per month will cost just £7.50, if that's not enough juice to get you by, they offer 10GB for £15 instead. That's 10 times the data for just twice the price, miles better than the competition as you can see in the data plan roundup below...
