Cheaper iPhone tariffs with Vodafone & Orange?
With exclusivity of Apple iPhone contracts over the last two years, O2 have sold over a million of iPhone contracts and gained many of their competitors customers who have left to get their hands on the latest must-have.
And with the news of Orange and now Vodafone, winning deals to offer the iPhone too it was expected that O2 would have to drop prices to stay in the game. However, O2 are firmly stating that this is not the case and prices will remain the same. They had major success with the iPhone and don't plan to change it now. But, with Orange offering the iPhone this year and Vodafone early next year, both offering tariffs that are 'as competitive as possible for customers' and also that Vodafone have stated that their existing customers will get priority when it is launched next year, O2 are going to have a serious price battle on their hands.
