Batman: Arkham Asylum Wins Bafta for Best Game of 2010

It looked as though Sony's epic 'Uncharted 2' would clean up at this years Bafta Video Game Awards, snapping up awards for Best Story, Best Action Game, Best Audio and Most Original Score, but in a surprise twist 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' secured the award for Best Game of 2010, which was also predicted to be an 'Uncharted 2' win. Batman also won the award for 'Best Gameplay'.

It was a disappointing day for the popular XBOX 360 title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, even after turning over more than $1 Billion Dollars in sales, the game won just one Bafta: 'The GAME Award', but this was voted for by the public, demonstrating it's popularity in comparison to the other winners of the day, so not all bad.

Also among the winners was 'Left for Dead 2' with the award for Best Gameplay and Fifa '10 with Best Sports Game and Best Online Game.
