Apple iPhone 3.0 release date confirmed
Apple have confirmed the release date for the new 3.0 operating system for the Apple iPhone which also has new features to boot.
The iPhone 3.0 OS will be available from June 17th 2009 to iPhone and iPhone 3G users and will be free of charge, unless it is for the iPod Touch which will cost £5.99.

Features such as MobileMe, which tracks a lost iPhone and clears all data from the iPhone if it is stolen, a landscape keyboard, Movie and TV programme rentals, connection to a laptop or PC, HTTP Video/Audio streaming, parental controls, cut and paste and further applications for Google Maps. Apple claims that there will be over 100 new features as well as new interface and usability improvements.
Apple are doing all they can to keep the iPhone in full on head to head competition with rivals such as Blackberry and Palm and we can't wait to see if they have managed it.
