Apple iPad UK Release delayed till late April

Due to undisclosed reasons, Apple have had to put back the UK release date of their new tablet device until late April, so us Brits will have to wait that little bit longer to get our hands on the Wi-Fi only version, with the 3G equipped version expected a month after that. UK pricing details are still to be announced, traditionally Apple products cost more in the UK than the US even after taxes and transportation costs have been added on.

A straight currency conversion from dollars to Pounds plus taxes would make up for the delay, but knowing Apple's UK pricing history customers should expect to pay a premium on top of this. Fingers crossed the surprisingly low price announced at the iPad keynote translates to prices this side of the pond.
