Apple iBooks now at UK iTunes Store

With the UK release of the Apple iPad taking place this Friday 28th May, and with many UK consumers already owning the iPad, the news that Apple iBooks are now available at the iTunes store is fab news.

This means that you can now download the iBooks app for free and turn your iPad into the e-reader it was designed to be. Some of the features of the iBooks app include, a complimentary version of Winnie-the-pooh by A A Milne, Free samples of books prior to purchase, organise your iBooks by author, title or category, screen brightness adjustment, font size adjustment, page navigator, and much more.

If you own, or will, own an iPad, this app is a must. iBooks can only be downloaded if you have an iPad and as we said this is what the iPad was designed for. See the video below for a hands-on experience with iBooks.
