Much loved Apple products such as iPods and iPhones have been increased in price by Apple due to the latest VAT hikes in the UK. The prices of the Apple iMac and Mac Book Pro have also seen an increase along with all other Apple products across the range.
However, Apple remain confident that these price hikes will not affect sales as it believes that customers will stay loyal despite the new prices.
VAT in the UK has been increased from 17.5% to 20% in an attempt to resolve the country's debt, but it has been suggested by analysts that sales will slow in 2011 due to the as consumers hold back on spending. Good luck Apple!!
