Aga Cooker Sales Slow Down
Aga the famous cast iron range cooker manufacture is feeling the pinch from the credit crunch according to there latest figures.
The company said orders for its Rangemaster cookers are up more than 5%, but warned sales of Aga cast-iron cookers are expected to dip in the UK and Ireland during the first half. Aga has blamed the poor sales on the housing slow down which has effected many top end appliances manufactures in the first quarter of 2008.

Aga Range Cookers
Its a well known fact that if people don't move house or re-invest in there house they are already living in, then big ticket items like fridges, washing machines and range cookers will slow down.
Aga aim to buck the trend of sliding sales by investing £.5 million in a new advertising campaign to attract a younger customer to the brand. Personally I just can't see anyone under 30 having a spare 10 grand when the economy is in such dire straights, but I wish them all the look for trying.
