Nook eBook Reader Delayed

If you are one of the many who plan on buying the much coveted Nook as a Christmas present, start writing your “I owe yous” now. The Nook is an eBook Reader with a color touch screen, crisp and easy to read text, and 5 font sizes. With its 2 GB’s of internal storage, you can store up to 1,500 books, magazines, and newspapers. You can also eliminate buyer’s remorse by demoing books for free and deciding if they are worth a purchase. According to Barnesandnoble.com/nook/support, “You can access eBooks -- including thousands of free classic titles and bestsellers for $9.99 -- by tapping the Shop button on your nook. A number of nook features apply only to eBooks purchased through Barnes & Noble.com. These are stored in your online digital library and include: bookmarks, highlighting, notes, lending, rating, recommending, and cross-platform reading.”
Major Delays have been occurring due to the number of preordered Nook’s in November. If you didn’t preorder in November, you won’t be able to get your hands on one until the New Year. Nevertheless, the avid reader will feel it’s worth the wait!
Expected ship date January 11th 2010 for $259.
