| Like Sony, Toshiba have stopped producing Plasma TVs instead opting for HD ready LCD TV's. Concentrating on LCDs, their range of televisions is called the Toshiba Regza LCD series.
Toshiba either has a WL range which is the Toshiba Regza LCD television without an integrated digital tuner. Or it has the WLT which is the Toshiba Regza LCD TV range with an integrated digital tuner. The number prior to the WL (T) is the size of the screen, and the double number after it is like your car registration number, the higher it is, the newer it is. So the Toshiba 32WLT68 would be the latest in the Toshiba Regza LCD TV range and would have a 42 inch LCD screen TV with an integrated digital tuner. Similarly, the 32WLT58 would be the Toshiba Regza range of televisions but would have a 32 inch screen and would be the older model. The New Regza Series (Q1 2007) - Replaces the best-selling Toshiba 32WLT66 range C-Series - C3030DB Toshiba have recently announed a brand new, affordable range of LCD TV's that have a resolution of 1366x768 and are HD ready. The Regza C Series has 2 HDMI ports, Integrated Digital Tuner (Freeview), an Active Vision LCD, SRS WOW Audio Technology, Standard TV Upscaling, MPEG Noise Reduction, 3D Digital Comb Feature and Digital Noise Reduction. This new range is available in sizes: 26 (26C3030DB), 32 (32C3030DB), 37 (37C3030DB) and 42 (42C3030DB) inches. Toshiba create stunning TV's that bowl us over with their slenderness and sleek appearance, whilst retaining their solid and trendy design, the C Series follows suit and can be wall mounted or displayed on a floor stand. And as one of our most important requirements, the C Series is completely future-proof with it's built in Freeview along with 40 TV channels and 20 radio stations. X-Series – X3030DB
Complementing Toshiba’s C-Series offering, is the new Regza X-Series mid-market contender, which comes in 32, 37 & 42-inch models. It offers 1080p support and comes with three rear HDMI sockets on the back for connecting up your games console and HD DVD players at the same time. The ‘exact scan’ technology claims to duplicate the image sent from the media source connected. Toshiba claim an impressive contrast ratio of 5000:1 too. X-Series Elite – X3530DB Toshiba hasn’t ended things there for the X-series, it’s launched another few elite members, the X3530DB super slim ‘picture frame’ models, which come in 40 & 46-inch screen sizes. The only difference aside from the privileged design interface is the side HDMI connectivity, which comes in handy for swapping over media sources without the need to disappear to the rear. Z Series – Z3030DB Boasting the highest specification of all Toshiba’s newly launched series, the Regza Z-series is reaching the high-end of the LCD market. The gorgeously luscious black design is available in 37, 42, 47, 52, and 57-inch models. C-Series – C3030DB includes:
