We have a low ceiling at 2100mm. The Britannia 1100mm rangecooker we want is 910mm high and the minimum height for the splashback is 660mm. That only leaves us 530mm. What extraction hood can we get?

Like me, I think you're out of luck. There is a minimum distance on building / corgi regs for hob - extractor. For gas I think it's 750mm min and it's a bit less for an electric hob, around 650mm? I'm just looking at my kitchen with the same problem!!

You do have some options. There the Elica Light Cube. Its wall hung and only 36 cm high. Unfortunately it is pricey and 90cm wide! There's also the baumatic BT16.3 with a minimum height of 44 cm. Assuming your ceiling is 2.1 m that that should give you the 70cm clearance you need. Good luck.
