Which Handheld PC would suit you?

Was the handheld PC made for you or someone else?

Before you spend a wedge of cash on a handheld PC you want to make sure you are getting the right one to suit your needs. Many big branders release models aimed at specific user groups so use our guide to find out which one has been aimed at you.

Which user group do you belong to?

We have identified five user groups that are currently being targeted. They include:

Everyday user

The everyday user wants a hassle-free PC and phone in one. They want a simple small design along with ease of use and convenience.

Cheap and cheerful

Cheap and cheerful users include the love-a-budget student and the insanely skint. These users require a pocketable bit of kit which includes organisational programmes like calendars, diaries, and to-do lists. Equally as important, is synchronisation with a PC.

For the fun of it

For the fun of it users are gadget greedy. They just can’t wait to get their hands on the latest technology releases - whatever the price. They’ll want their handheld PC for everything, including listening to music, watching videos, playing games, surfing the web and taking photos - all the fun stuff really. They’ll want no-messing fast processors with massive memory and excellent high-resolution colour screens.

Serious stuff

Serious stuff users are mainly business dudes. They’ll need a handheld that’s Microsoft Word and Excel compatible with stacks of memory and a fast processor. Bluetooth is a must for emailing on the move for these important guys too.

Backpacker

The backpacker is the user that is constantly on the move. They’ll want their handheld to stand in for a fully-fledged laptop. Everything is key to these users, including good battery life, connectivity and most importantly, size. Integrated Wi-fi or Bluetooth is a must for communication and it’ll need all the right software too.

Here at Unbeatable we’ve handpicked some handhelds that we think will best suit individual users. Take the first step by deciding which type of user you are to find out which handheld PC is best for you.
